An academically rich homeschool program
for children grades K–8.
Oak & Ivy Learning
"A homeschool supplemental program where academics meet hands-on discovery."
Who We Are
Oak & Ivy Learning is a Christ-centered, nature-inspired homeschool supplemental enrichment program for students in grades K–8. We meet Tuesday through Thursday, offering families a trusted partner in their child's education — one that honors the rhythms of home learning while providing rich academic structure and meaningful community.
Rooted in Naples, Florida and launching for the 2026–2027 school year, Oak & Ivy keeps groups intentionally small so every child is truly known, cared for, and challenged to grow.
Vision & Philosophy
Oak & Ivy Learning offers a small, nurturing environment rooted in classical-inspired academics and a Christ-centered approach to learning. We provide strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and science, with history and social sciences woven into daily learning through rich literature, storytelling, and narration.
Children are guided through a gentle, structured daily rhythm that reflects order and purpose. Through hands-on experiences, meaningful time outdoors, and thoughtful engagement with stories of the past, students grow in confidence and curiosity as they explore and delight in God's creation.
What We Believe
Every decision we make — how we teach, what we study, how we structure our days — flows from these foundational beliefs.
We believe education is discipleship. All learning is grounded in the truth of Scripture and ordered toward the formation of wisdom, virtue, and love of God.
We pursue what is true, good, and beautiful through rich literature, meaningful work, the arts, and engagement with God's creation.
We believe learning is rooted in living books, narration, conservation, and hands-on exploration. We intentionally cultivate habits of attention, diligence, kindness, and self-control through consistent routines and clear expectations.
Time outdoors is essential. Nature study, observation, and stewardship help children grow in wonder, humility, and gratitude towards God's world.
We prioritize low ratios, meaningful relationships, and shared responsibility between families and educators.
Childhood is not something to rush through. We honor simplicity, imagination, play, and unhurried learning.
The People Behind Oak & Ivy
Oak & Ivy Learning was founded by two passionate educators united by a shared vision — a small, intentional learning community where every child is truly known.

Founder & Lead Teacher
Oak & Ivy Learning was born from a deep desire to create the kind of learning environment Stephanie longed to see for children — peaceful, purposeful, academically strong, and rooted in Christ.
With years of experience in both classroom teaching and literacy intervention, Stephanie has worked closely with students across grade levels, helping them build confident reading skills, strong academic foundations, and a love for learning. She has a particular passion for early literacy and believes that when children are given careful instruction, gentle structure, and encouragement, they flourish.
As both an educator and a mother, Stephanie understands the importance of nurturing the whole child — heart, mind, and character. She values order and rhythm in the school day, believing that calm structure creates security and space for growth. She also believes deeply in the power of nature, hands-on discovery, and meaningful conversation to awaken curiosity and wonder.
Oak & Ivy reflects her vision for a small, intentional learning community where children are truly known, guided with care, and formed not only academically, but spiritually. Her hope is that every child who walks through Oak & Ivy grows in confidence, competence, and a joyful love for God's world.

Founder & Lead Teacher
Avery is a co-founder of Oak & Ivy Learning, created to nurture a learning environment where children feel seen, supported, and encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and in character. She envisions a space that is intentional, well-structured, and grounded in Christ, where students can build skills and confidence while exploring the world around them.
A graduate of Samford University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a concentration in Christian Education and Missions, Avery is currently completing her first year teaching first grade at Grace Classical Academy. Her experiences in both public and private Christian classrooms have shaped her approach to teaching, emphasizing thoughtful routines, hands-on learning, and opportunities for curiosity and meaningful exploration.
Avery believes that children thrive when they are guided with encouragement, clear expectations, and room to engage with learning in a purposeful way. She aims to create an environment that balances structure with discovery, giving students a sense of security while inviting them to grow in confidence, curiosity, and joy.
Through Oak & Ivy, Avery seeks to cultivate a community where children are supported, inspired, and equipped to grow in knowledge, faith, and character — leaving with a love for learning and an eagerness to explore God's creation.

What We Offer
A rich blend of core curriculum, real-world skills, and hands-on enrichment — designed to spark curiosity, build strong foundations, and connect learning to life.
History and ELA are fully woven together through Beautiful Feet Books — literature-based American history told through living books, narration, and rich writing. No textbooks. Just great stories.
K–5 uses Math with Confidence — a mastery-based program that builds real understanding through games and hands-on lessons. Grades 6–8 use Saxon Math, one of the most trusted programs in classical education.
Science happens outside. Our Charlotte Mason-inspired, seasonal science curriculum takes students outdoors every week for hands-on experiments, nature journaling, and real discovery — no textbook required.
Creative expression is essential. Students explore drawing, painting, nature crafts, and seasonal projects that reinforce learning through making and delight in beauty.
Personalized small-group tutoring in core subjects — available to enrolled and non-enrolled families alike. We meet each student where they are and help them move forward with confidence.
One-time drop-in sessions and short series open to all families — enrolled or not. Bread baking, cooking, financial literacy, sewing, crocheting, painting, growing food, and more. Real skills for real life.
Guided visits to local farms where students get up close with animals, learn about agriculture and plant biology, and connect food back to the earth it came from. Open to all families.
Who We Serve
